Context

A concept brand identity for Busy Buns, a café designed for people who need a productive workspace. The idea came from a personal frustration, finding a café that actually supports focused work rather than just tolerating it. I wanted to design a space and brand that solves that problem, with a visual identity rooted in Scandinavian minimalism but with enough personality to feel warm and inviting.

I designed the complete visual identity system in Illustrator and Figma: logo, a custom mascot character, typography, color palette, packaging, signage, and social templates. The design balances clean Scandinavian restraint with a playful mascot that keeps the brand from feeling sterile, approachable without being childish, minimal without being cold. The identity is intentionally universal: no specific age group, gender, or nationality targeted.
