UGG x LAPINSKI

I created a 3D video that transforms the Tasman II into a pixelated version of itself, placed inside a photorealistic environment. Using a match-cut technique, the video transitions through different seasons and atmospheres while the shoe stays fixed in frame, a contrast between the changing world and the product's consistency. Modelled and rendered in Blender, composited in After Effects. 3D was relatively new territory for me at the time, and I used this project to push into it under real production pressure. The final piece was published on UGG's social channels and delivered the kind of visually distinctive, scroll-stopping content that brands increasingly need for paid and organic social.
