Context

A self-initiated concept rebrand for Vattenfall, one of Sweden's largest energy companies. The existing brand identity felt safe and restrained relative to the company's ambition of enabling a fossil-free future. I set out to explore what a more expressive, forward-looking visual system could look like, one that better communicates transformation and progress.

I developed a complete concept identity from scratch: a new logotype built around a circular form divided into four parts with a forward-moving axis, a motion system that brings the mark to life across digital touchpoints, and a set of social templates and brand guidelines. The geometric form suggests momentum and change, while softened edges make it feel approachable. Built in Illustrator for the identity system and After Effects for the motion language. The project demonstrates end-to-end brand thinking, strategy, visual identity, motion design, and social application, on a brand that any Swedish employer will immediately recognize. It's a concept project, but it's designed to production-ready standards.
