I made a rebranding of the energy giant Vattenfall, a Swedish global company that wants to enable the fossil freedom that drives society forward.The logo is created through splitting up a circle in 4 with a arrow pointing forwards in a 45° degree angle, making it clear that vattenfall is all about transformation and progress, then softening the sharp edges that’s left to show that they are humane and trustable.But the arrow inside the logo can also be seen as wind turbine wings, supporting their core values even more, so it’s ambiguous.I wanted to keep the same structure in terms of design, so that it’s still memorable as Vattenfall, but just pump it up a notch or two.
